Meeting Dates

All general meetings are held at 7pm in the Animal Sciences Building room S147.

September 20, 2010 = Our welcome meeting. We will be discussing ideas for this
                                         upcoming year such as our behind the scenes zoo trip,
                                         t-shirts, and fundraisers.

October 18, 2010 = UMHS's own Andy Mueller and Tim Schrautemeier will be
                                    presenting. Andy worked with black ratsnake telemetry this
                                    summer. Tim has spent the last 4 months in the rainforests of
                                    Costa Rica.  This meeting should be very helpful for any 
                                    underclassmen wanting to get involved with herps professionally.

November 15, 2010 = UMHS's own Jeff Weigert, Justin Milewczik, and Daniel Gruhn will
                                        be presenting on their summer internships.  Jeff worked with a private
                                        collection of reptiles in Minnesota. Justin interned at the St. Louis Zoo
                                        Herpetarium, and Dan worked with frog calls through MU.

February 21, 2011 =

March 21, 2011 = Dr. Jeff Ettling, Curator of Reptiles and Aquatics at the St. Louis Zoo, will be
                                presenting on the critically endangered Ozark Hellbender. The St. Louis Zoo,
                                the Wildcare Institute, the Missouri Department of Cosnervation, and several
                                other groups are striving to restore the Ozark Hellbender to Missouri's SW
                                streams.

April 18, 2011 = UMHS Board Elections! Any member can run for any position. For a description
                             of each position, please refer to the "Constitution" page.
